Tremonton City Fireworks OrdinanceIn the 2011 General Legislative Session the Prevention and Fireworks Act was modified changing the definition of Class C common state approved explosive and Class C dangerous explosive. If the firework is not defined as a Class C dangerous explosive, then it is a Class C common state approved explosive. In the 2012 General Legislative Session they passed a bill that modified the 2011fireworks laws to state that a person may sell approved fireworks from June 23 to July 27, December 29 through December 31, and two days before the Chinese New Year’s Eve. People may discharge the fireworks between 11:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. between July 1 and July 7, and July 21 through July 27. On July 4 and July 24, the hours are 11:00 am. to midnight. On December 31 and Chinese New Year’s Eve, the hours are 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (following day).
