Industrial and Business Parks

The following information is a summary of the development characteristics of the Tremonton Business Park and the Tremonton Industrial Park.

The Tremonton Industrial Park and Business Park have the advantage of easy access to the I-15 interchange, which provides access to all of the major north/south and east/west interstate trucking routes. Utah is known as the "crossroads of the West."

An international airport is located in Salt Lake City, about 70 miles to the south. It is a Delta Airlines hub, serving most major cities in the United States and parts of Europe and Asia.

Rail access is via the Oregon Short Line Railroad right-of-way, adjacent to the Industrial Park, which can provide service to any parcel within the Industrial Park and selected parcels within the Business Park. Major carriers serving the region are the Denver and Rio Grande Western Railroad and the Union Pacific Railroad.

In order to entice development compatible with the community's goals and objectives, Tremonton City has undertaken an aggressive program for infrastructure and amenities development to provide high quality industrial and business park sites to prospective developers and tenants.

Tremonton City is committed to providing a positive development climate and a cooperative working relationship with businesses and developers in order to entice high quality businesses. Priorities are placed on attracting industry and development that create jobs that are compatible with the existing job market, with the emphasis on creating jobs.

It is intended that the Business Park and Industrial Park support interests presently existing in the business community as well as to diversify the economic base, and to attract compatible businesses, not only in terms of the surrounding community, but also with respect to each other.
